HOSTEL

Hostel is the home away from home for students. VKIT offers the infrastructure necessary for a balance practical life as well as complete professional training and personal fulfilment.Separate hostels are provided for boys and girls with well furnished, ventilated and necessary amenities for students. These include indoor games, reading room and audio-video facilities. The hostel mess provides delicious nutritive food.

Boys Hostel

Boys hostel in the campus has 42 single and 97 double rooms which are fully furnished. Presently there are 155 students staying in the hostel. North Indian ,South Indian and Chinese foods are provided in the Mess attached to the Hostel.Aqua guard  filters are provided in the hostel as well as in the Mess to supply clean water.Generator is installed to provide power in case of power failure. Standby transportation facility is provided round the clock in case of emergency. 24 hours hot water is supplied through Solar Heater.

Girls Hostel

A separate hostel for girls is provided in the city, Rajajinagar, Bangalore which can accommodate about 50 girl students. Presently 40 students are staying the girls hostel. Transportation is provided from Girls Hostel to VKIT campus.Aqua guard  filters are provided in the hostel as well as in the Mess to supply clean water.Generator is installed to provide power in case of power failure.

Seminar/conference Halls

The campus has two seminar halls with sophisticated modern facilities with sufficient number of seating arrangement. Eminent academicians and practicing professionals are invited as guest faculty for Seminars, Workshops and Conferences arranged where the students have ample opportunity to interact and understand the practical applications of theoretical concepts and ideas.

R&D and internet browsing centre

The R & D and Internet Browsing Centre is housed in a newly constructed independent block and is well equipped with 100 High Configuration Computer Systems for browsing purpose. The internet connection is having a broadband connectivity of 2 Mbps . This facility is also extended for students to carry out their project work by accessing the latest information over the web and teaching faculty to pursue their R&D work. The centre is kept opened throughout the working hours.
