Admission

For admission to B.E./MBA. Courses:

 

The student should have passed Karnataka 2nd PUC or equivalent examination with Physics and Mathematics along with Chemistry / Bio-Technology / Computer Science / Electronics / Biology as optional subjects.

 

Along with English as one of the languages of study and obtained a minimum of 45% of marks in aggregate in the optional subjects.

 

In case of candidates belonging to Karnataka Scheduled Caste, Scheduled Tribe and other Backward Classes (Category I, 2A,2B, 3A and 3B).

 

The minimum marks for the purpose of eligibility will be 40% of marks in aggregate in the optional subjects in the qualifying examination.

 

Admission to MBA is being conducted under the supervision of Central Post Graduate Admission Committee (CPAC).

 

For the purpose of determining the merit of both Karnataka and Non- Karnataka Candidates for admission to the First year, First semester of full time (2 years) MBA courses, in University Departments and institutions affiliated to VTU within the State of Karnataka.

 

The Non-Karnataka candidates appearing for PGCET are eligible for those seats available against the management quota of private professional institutions.
