Janatha Education society®

The Janatha Education society was founded in 1972 and is dedicated to the cause of Education in Karnataka State. The Managing Committee of the Society consists of dedicated and reputed persons from several walks of life. The main objective of the Society is to provide Quality Education and improve the lives of down trodden and needy people. The Management people have great ambition to develop the institution as a model Engineering college. Fifteen educational institutions are run by the Society.

The City campus of the Janatha Education Society is located at Rajajnagar II stage, Bangalore- 56055. The five strayed building complex is built on a one acre plot and has a total commissioned built- in area of 9000 sq, meters. The building is a well planned structure and spacious Lecture Halls, well equipped laboratories and a large auditorium. Ample space for the library and indoor games facility have been provided. Similarly adequate provision has been made for student & staff amenities. A new wing for the kindergarten, primary & high school sections has been added. It is also proposed to use one of the halls in this complex as a prayer hall.

During the year 1998, a nine & half feet bronze statue of Swami Vivekananda, made by the well known sculptors of Culcutta, Messrs, Paul & Co. has been installed in front of the building complex. The Former Prime Minister of India, Sri H.D Deve Gowda unveiled the statue. It is hoped that the students and staff of the various institutions run by the society as well as the general public will be inspired by this statue to adopt & practice the teachings of Swami Vivekananda.
